The rank of Eagle is the greatest honor a scout can receive. A scout must complete 21 Eagle Required Merit Badges, be a leader within their troop, and lead a service project to give back to their community. It takes months, even years of dedication, hard work, and determination to earn this rank. Troop 140 B has had many scouts reach the rank of Eagle, however for the first time in Troop 140 history, Troop 140 G had the first female scouts earn the rank of Eagle in 2023. Congratulations the Scouts of Troop 140 G who earn the rank of Eagle because they are trailblazers carving a path for women in scouting.
