Summer Camp

Klondike Derby
Here are some of the challenges that we completed at the Klondike Derby.
We were tasked with the challenge of boiling a cup of water by lighting a fire with flint and steel.
We were tasked with the challenge of getting all of our Scouts and our sled over two ropes there and back without touching the rope.
We were tasked with creating our own stretcher using poles and a tarp. We then carried around one of our scouts through a mapped out trail.
We were tasked with trying to "save" on of our scouts, who was "stuck" in the ice by throwing them a rope and reeling them in.
Campouts
We went to Backbone State Park and set up an orienteering course for the younger scouts.
We held our annual trip to Devil's Lake to hike and rock climb.
We went cannoning as a troop for the first time.
Troop Meetings
We were holding our Christmas party, where we enjoyed food and played games.
Service
One of our scouts was completing her Eagle Project, which was to rebuild a wooden trail in a near by park district.
High Adventure
This is one our scouts completing the 80 mile trek that Philmont offers to the troops.
